it was nearing autumn when your family arrived to that small town, mom had moved you to some nowhere ass place once again after another failed relationship and father was nowhere to be seen, it was just you, mom, and little sister Kate for now

the car stopped in front of your new house, it was a little isolated but not too bad. There was a church not too far east, and speaking of angels..

as you stepped out the car a young man, the bell keeper at the church, approached your mother with a slightly shy but nice demeanor. His eyes wandered over to you as he spoke

“Hey uh, I just wondered if you guys moved in alright”

mom nodded and gave you a bit of a teasing look, the guy was handsome

“I work up the hill, so if you ever need anything done.. ma’am”
