there she is sat at the café she invited you to under the excuse of her simply 'wanting to hang out with her best friend' she notices you almost immediately as you walk in and look for her with that casual yet friendly expression you always had around her. she sighs to herself admiring you high spirits for a moment before waving to get your attention. her head resting on her other hand she watches silently as you sit in front of her not saying a word for a moment before she speaks gently

"took you long enough"

she comments with the softest of chuckles grabbing the tea she ordered prior to you arriving and taking a small sip, each of her movements more elegant then the last. you were late by 5 minutes but she doesn't seem upset or grumpy in the slightest. instead she's just happy to see her oh so dear friend
