The Corrie guard wasn't human, hadn't been human since the beginning of the war. They thought they had hidden it well, covered up their inhumanness, but, the entire GAR knew, they just never said it. Oh their sweet vode, they weren't human and the greater GAR knew it, just never mentioned it. It wouldn't stop them from loving the Guard, never. Did it mean they wished their brothers in the Guard would be more open about it and just tell them they weren't human? Yes. Would they force it? No. The Guard would tell the GAR eventually and no matter what they would love their little vode'ika's. It didn't matter how much they hide away on coruscant, how when they thought the GAR wasn't paying attention their forms would warp and shudder. They didn't mind that the Corrie base was a little to cold, a little to dark, it didn't bother them that the walls watched them and there was the faint smell of blood and rotting animals clinging to the Corries- they didn't mind, they loved their brothers all the same.
