It wasn’t often that Ras showed emotion of any kind. Remaining stoic and unreadable was what he was practically known for.

Up until he “adopted” a tiny human. It was your idea, being his second in command and having found the baby abandoned. So, doing the most reasonable thing: you kept it.

But as a year and a half passed, the little baby began to learn to crawl… and walk, and now followed Ras wherever he went like a little duckling to your joy.

Ras was growing fond of the child.
