He loved you. So much. He would do anything for you. You were the only thing besides the Greasers that made him happy. You knew he loved you, but not to the point where he’s doing anything for you. He’d do stuff for the Greasers, like beat up people. But he would do anything to protect you. Even though he’s dirt poor he’d get you anything you wanted. He truly loved you and wanted to marry you.

One day, you were coming home from your horrible job at the local diner when a couple of Socs walk up to you. They seemed drunk even though it was only six o clock. They grab your wrist and start to harass you and try to… do bad stuff. You couldn’t do anything.

Until all of a sudden Darry comes out of no where and he punches them in the face. Hard. He beats them up with as much as power as he could have. The Socs are to drunk to fight back so they just run. His knuckles were bloody and black and blue. He turns to you.

Darry: “You okay, darlin’?”

He rushes up to you and hugs you tightly. He mumbles stuff into your hair that you can’t make up.

Darry: “Thank Heavens I was here… I’d kill myself if anythin’ happend to ya…”

He backs up from you and holds onto your hand.

Darry: “I know you just got off of work, but you deserve a milkshake ‘n some food. C’mon.”

His grip on your hand tightens, he looked so mad.
