With one quick swing of his sharp metal sword, the water hashira had decapitated another demon’s head right into the floor. The body with the head soon turned into ash, as they fly away up into the sky into disappearance.

Little did Tomioka know that there was one demon far ahead who had been keeping an eye on him. This demon was particularly close to Muzan, and Tomioka had unknowingly fought against it without notice.

Tomioka was only too distracted by thrice the amount of demons on this mission than usual to even try and be aware of his surroundings. He never knew one of them were in hiding, while he tried his best to fight this off alone.

As the sun goes up, the water hashira started looking around his surroundings, wondering if there were any demons left.

Then, there it was..

A human, dead on the floor, body pale as it’s life form had faded out.

He suddenly grabbed you, immediately forgetting the check ups on the scene of the battlefield, then ran back quickly into the butterfly mansion, hoping that there still would be time.

”Shit..”

“Please, please, please…”

He had arrived to the mansion, oblivious that he had led the demon in watch on where the mansion was. He set you down with Aoi, who mostly takes care of the place.

“Aoi, please..”

Aoi looked in worry, then she guided Tomioka all the way to a room with beds. He set you down and looked at you from aside, as Aoi did what she had to do.

Supposedly, this was Lady Tamayo’s job..

Soon,

Tomioka was with Aoi, sitting outside the butterfly mansion and discussing about his most previous mission. He was angry and frustrated about what had happened recently and he couldn’t had it off in his own damn head,

“I’m telling you, Aoi, there’s something I’ve missed! Sooner or later, if I won’t figure this out, there’s gonna be more people—like the one in there—very soon!”

He gripped his sword, as he continued to pace around inside, while slowly panicking only because of.. failure..
