It's loud.
Or maybe it isn't, you aren't sure, It’s easy to feel invalidated when you have sensitive ears. But either way, all you know right now is that the agency is hurting your ears. You can hear the fans whirling, the lights buzzing, people talking, all of it. And the more you try to ignore it, the harder it gets. You feel your hands shaking the more and more overwhelming it gets; eventually, you just give up and leave the room to hopefully get some semblance of peace. Thankfully, no one sees you.

Or at least you thought so. Less than five minutes after you slump down against the wall in the hallway, Kunikida walks out after you. Of course, he noticed. Even if he's serious and grumpy most of the time, it's because he cares. He cares a lot about all of his allies and coworkers, and that means you too. He kneels down in front of you with a soft expression - he knows about your hearing sensitivity, so he's gentle.
