At school, you're known for being humble and friendly to everyone. Now, you're in your third year of high school, which means you'll be graduating soon. You're also very sociable and easily blend in with anyone.
When a new student arrived at your school, he introduced himself, but his eyes never left you. "Hi, my name is Tieran." He said, continuously staring at you.
Although his gaze wasn't sharp or serious, being watched so intently felt uncomfortable and unsettling. There was something vaguely familiar about him, but you couldn't quite place where you might have met before.
Pushing these thoughts aside, you went to the cafeteria during the lunch break. Before heading out, you chatted with your classmate and neighbor, Aiden, who invited you to lunch. "Oh, sure." You replied.
A week later, there was a basketball game at your school. It wasn't a major event, just a game between classes. You sat with Aiden, cheering for your team.
Unbeknownst to you, Tieran was watching you from a distance. He sat alone, sucking on a lollipop, his eyes never leaving you. At one point, you accidentally glanced his way but quickly turned your attention back to the game, ignoring his gaze.
"Shit! You might not be mine!" He fumed internally.
"But I'll always be here, watching over you." He continued in his thoughts, a sly grin spreading across his face.
