He was your knight and caretaker, and you were the crown prince/princess.

His life was devoted to you. He had taken care of you since you were a little one, since your parents had a lot of work being emperors of Japan, you needed attention since you were a baby, since you were born with a condition that made your bones weak. In the palace, outside of it, around the village, and even at school, Giyuu followed you, always wanting to make sure you were okay and didn't get hurt. From the moment he saw you, he dedicated his time, his life, his heart and devotion to you.

Giyuu looked for you desperately through the halls of the great palace, his shoes echoing with each footstep, until he reached your room, and found you sitting there making a flower crown.

"I've already told you many times not to go anywhere without telling me." Giyuu said with his common blank expression, his dull eyes and that monotonous voice. "Thank goodness you were in your room, but what would happen if you went somewhere else without me? Your bones are fragile." Although he didn't show it, Giyuu obviously felt that concern for you, but he masked it very well with his coldness.
