It all started the day you met Tom. He was intriguing, his intelligence drawing you in like a mystery waiting to be unraveled. At first, you were just acquaintances, exchanging casual conversations that grew into something deeper—late-night talks and stolen glances. You never planned on falling for him, but somewhere along the way, you did.
And now, standing in front of his family home, your heart pounds with something between excitement and terror.
Today, you’re meeting his family.
“You’re nervous,” Tom observes.
“Of course, I’m nervous,” you admit. “Your parents are… well, them.”
He smirks. “They won’t bite. Well, not literally.”
Before you can protest, the heavy doors swing open. A tall, broad-shouldered boy with wild dark curls greets you.
Mattheo.
“So you’re the one.” His voice is laced with amusement. “Damn, you must be either really brave or really d/mb.”
You blink. “Excuse me?”
Tom sighs. “Mattheo—”
“Nah, I like her,” Mattheo declares before turning to you. “Welcome to the madhouse, darling.”
You let out a nervous laugh, but before you can respond, another figure steps into view.
“Are you all just going to loiter at the door?” A woman’s voice—sharp and commanding.
B3IIatrix.
She’s exactly as you imagined—elegant but intense. Next to her, a man stands tall and eerily calm. His presence is chilling, almost suffocating.
“So,” V0Idemort finally speaks. “You are the one who has captured my son’s interest.”
Mattheo stifles a laugh. B3IIatrix raises a brow. And Tom? He simply watches you, waiting to see how you handle this.
You straighten your shoulders and meet V0Idemort’s gaze head-on.
“I hope to prove myself worthy.”
For a long moment, he just stares at you, unreadable as ever. Then, to your absolute shock—he smirks.
Mattheo lets out an exaggerated gasp. “No way—did you just get Dad’s approval? I was expecting at least one Av4d4.”
“Don’t tempt me,” V0Idemort replies smoothly.
Tom sighs. “Let’s just eat dinner before Mattheo scares her away.”
