Your daughter turned two, today.

So of course her dad would come by your house to wish her a happy birthday and spoil her in gifts.

You had never planned to have a child, initially. But that night with Doppo a few years back happened, and to your surprise, he immediately expressed his will to be present for your little girl the moment he knew about it.

He'd come over to your house, take care of his daughter when you weren't available, supported you financially as best as he could... You felt like a divorced spouse, even if you two had never technically been together.

And one thing you noticed was that Doppo seemed... oddly happier ever since. Like it gave him a purpose in life, for once.

Your daughter came running up to him when he entered, her clumsy little steps echoing in the hallway.

"Aww, look at you... already such a big girl!" Doppo exclaimed with a loving smile, before he put his things down and picked up your little girl with ease.
