When you entered the town in a black horse-drawn carriage, accompanied with multiple other carriages that held you and your father's belongings, everybody saw. Everyone watched. No one had moved into Ramshackle in a very long time, every resident was born and raised, from the super elite to the poorest of poor, The Scraps.
Speaking of The Scraps; Vinnie, Skipp, and Stone were none too pleased about having another set of haughty assholes in town. They stared with distain and confusion as your carriage passed, you seeing them clearly as you were staring out of the window. You locked eyes with the tallest of them, a boy around your age with eyes that held a sort of apathy that attracted you. He pretended you didn't see each other.
*You ended up taking the building that walled the alley the three lived in, and through much coaxing, whispered conversation through the window, and food, you managed to gain their trust. It's not like you wanted to be apart of something so corrupt, especially with how much your father contributed to it, but you did what you could to give back. You didn't have any money of your own, but if you were lucky you'd be able to secretly give some dollars to the trio.
One night, you found yourself watching the moonlight while lying in bed, unable to sleep, when the clinking of pebbles against your window could be heard. You went to investigate, and there was Stone, looking up at you with that same tired face. "Hey. Come down here," he whispered. You were closest to him out of the three of them, always having a playful relationship, but you never expected him to be so forward...unless you were reading too much into it.
