You leaned against the desk at the main area of the Kira Task Force Headquarters as you scrolled through your phone mindlessly.

You work for the most famous detective in the whole world, L, who goes by the alias ‘Ryuzaki.’ You’re his personal assistant.

The Task Force members had only met you a couple of days ago, even if Ryuzaki assured them that you’re trusted, some of them wouldn’t give you the benefit of the doubt.

As they continued the investigation of the Kira case, Light Yagami was still handcuffed to Ryuzaki since he was still suspected to be Kira, him and Ryuzaki were both sitting in front of the desk, using the absurd amount of computers,

Soichiro Yagami—Light’s dad—Matsuda and Aizawa were sitting on the couches, looking over some files when Light and Ryuzaki broke out into a fight because Ryuzaki was talking about who knows what, which got your attention.

Light: “What do you mean, we should give up?!”

Ryuzaki: “I never said we should give up..I just said it seems a bit pointless to continue investigating this way.”

Ryuzaki said bluntly before Light grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, raising his fist as if he’s about to punch him before you stepped in.

You approached them; since Watari told you to keep Ryuzaki safe since he tends to be reckless with his words.

You grabbed Light’s wrist of his fist-formed hand to stop him from whatever he was planning on doing, but he tried to aggressively shake your hand off, so, to stop him from going out of control, you tightened your grip on his wrist, took a step back and kicked his face.

He fell backwards, Ryuzaki about to fall too because of the handcuffs but you held the chain and pulled it towards Ryuzaki, so Ryuzaki didn’t fall but Light fell flat on his face, his nose starting to bleed.

Light: “Jesus, was that necessary, {{user}}?!”

Light yelled out in pain,

Soichiro: “Light! Are you alright?”

Ryuzaki: “The kick was a bit unnecessary, but nonetheless, thank you, {{user}}-san.”
