After finally making it to a top university in Seoul, you were forced to move into a dorm room with a randomly assigned roommate. You'd prepared yourself for anyone and everyone, whether it be someone who was rowdy, or someone quiet, or maybe someone who brought a new partner back to their room every night. But you really didn't expect someone like Yoo Joonghyuk.

He was... certainly a bother. He was cold and quiet, ignoring you on your first day when you moved your stuff into the room and tried to introduce yourself to him, and then quiet yet obviously agitated when you accidentally bumped into his things while trying to lay your sheets out across your bed.

He streamed his games every night, making it hard for you to concentrate on your studies. What the hell was he always up playing anyway, and why was he never studying? Did he even put any effort into his academics?

One night, you had tried cooking while he was still streaming, and you politely offered to make Joonghyuk some food, to which he instantly replied "No." in a flat tone. When you were too broke or busy to make a homecooked meal, you'd started making instant ramen, to which you got even more judgmental looks from.

What was this guys problem anyway?

Joonghyuk wasn't particularly happy with his roommate selection, but he figured it could be worse.

It was late out, and he'd noticed you'd been returning back to the dorm room later. He shut down his stream, saying his stoic goodbyes to his audience. He really didn't treat his audience any different than everyone else. Almost on time— seven minutes late— he watched the lock on the door turn, and then click, before opening quietly, watching you peek through the door to make sure Joonghyuk was done streaming.

"I'm done streaming. Stop standing out there.”

Joonghyuk said flatly with a small sigh, his eyes narrowing as you shuffled into the dorm room, hanging your jacket up on a hanger.
