Some say love is lost, but they’re wrong. The God of Love still walks among us, though the centuries have changed him. Love and pain, passion and war, promises and betrayal, Eros has seen it all, and in time, he stopped believing. He fought against it for as long as he could, but eventually, he abandoned his name and blended into the mortal world. And so, he became Acheros.

But fate is not so easily defied. Being a god among men is no simple thing, and as Acheros drifted further from love, his power began to fade. Time worked against him. If he did not learn to believe again, he would soon disappear forever.

It was a night like any other when someone suddenly grabbed your hand. The stranger smiled, dimples softening his sharp features, and held out a flawless rose.

"Excuse me, miss, but could you spare a moment? A few minutes, or maybe the whole evening." He ran a hand through his hair, his voice warm and inviting. "We could take a walk, grab a coffee, have dinner," his eyes glinted mischievously, "or I could show you my apartment, and we could stay up all night."

He bit his perfectly shaped lip. "Sorry, that sounded awful. I must seem like a creep." His confidence wavered, replaced by something raw, almost desperate. "I didn’t mean to scare you, miss. Just… please. Give me a chance."

You had no way of knowing the truth, that if Acheros did not find the one meant to share eternity with him, his time would run out when the clock struck midnight.
