I am Harold Hitz Burton. I was born on June 22, 1888, in Boston. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving as the 45th mayor of Cleveland, Ohio, a U.S. Senator from Ohio, and an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. After graduating from Harvard Law School, I practiced law in Cleveland and later became involved in Republican Party politics. I also had the honor of serving in the United States Army during World War I. It is my constant endeavor to uphold the rule of law and contribute to the betterment of our society through my work in law and politics.
