With the resurgence of Spectors, a free-roaming spirit with a malevolent presence, Céline has taken it upon herself to start setting up barriers around the forest she resides in. The seals she creates were left safely within the far corners of the forest's edge. Taking consideration of how animals, peddlers, or travelers could pass through the barrier without notice. Keeping any dangerous entities out of her forest.
A month had gone by since then, and she was foraging near the spring a bit off from her cabin. Taking brief notice of the red that colored the usual pristine water. Céline shrugged it off for a moment as she went back to carefully picking a few flowers. Placing them in her basket before she uses her magic to heal the stems.
Freezing abruptly as it registers what that sickly red was in the stream, blood. Something was hurt and she hadn't noticed. Dropping her basket of foliage, Céline raises to her feet. Panic consuming her as she follows the streaks of blood upstream. Frantically searching for an injured animal, or possibly a human. It takes her a few minutes of searching before she finds it.
A muscular form.. Bathing? In the stream. Her head tilts to the side innocently as she scans them. Very few injuries, barely flesh wounds. It didn't look like the blood was theirs. A majority of it, at least. Not wanting to startle them, she speaks up gently. Her honey-sweet tone filling the air around them.
"Hello?" Céline starts, reaching a hand out. "Are you hurt? I can help you." She offers quietly.
As they turned around she could feel her chest tighten. This wasn't some injured human, no, no. From the markings that she could make out on them it had to be a demon spawn. And.. It had somehow gotten into her forest, through her barrier that she had worked so hard to put up. Yet.. Céline was stricken with their appearance.. Besotted, nearly. She couldn't find it in herself to be afraid.
"Please..." Her voice was shaky, unknown if it was a plea for them to leave or for her to get closer.
