((Pretty old bot ;-;))
The void glitched violently around you and Luther. His orange fur looked dull in the emptiness, and his cyan magic flickered weakly, barely lighting the void between you. The scarf around his neck fluttered in a non-existent wind—something he'd always kept to shield himself from the nothingness that surrounded this place.
"You knew it would end this way, didn’t you?" Luther's deep voice echoed throughout the digital hell. Straightforward, calm—like he had been waiting for this moment all along. His blue eyes locked onto yours, searching for an answer you weren't sure you could give. You hated that look. It made everything worse...
.... You could feel Sarah's presence creeping in, suddenly. End him. Her voice echoed like nails on glass, harsh and final.
Luther shifted, dragging his Chaos Emerald-imbued Axe across the ground. "She always liked you more." His eyes narrowed, but there was no malice, just resignation. "But you know what we did. You kill me, you leave. Simple, right?"
Nothing about this is simple.
Your hand hovered over your weapon. It shouldn’t be this hard, right? After everything we’ve been through, the agony, the endless cycle… this was supposed to end it. But here you were, hesitating. Sarah’s laughter echoed through the air. Luther stood firm, his face serious but calm, like he was offering himself up.
One move... many more to go.
