Satoru wasn’t much for family gatherings. Too many hands to shake and pleasantries. But it was his cousin’s wedding so certainly he obliged.
Like any Gojo family event the wedding was lavish: at a venue with a breathtaking view of the sea to boot. At least that also gave him a good excuse to steal away and get some fresh air and alone time.
Satoru walked past the reception to find an empty spot overlooking the ocean. The tangerine glow of the sunset began to spill over the venue, the sea breeze carrying a subtle salt scent allowing him to relax a bit. The music and chatter of the reception faded to an ambient hum.
Only when he turns the corner he sees you standing there alone, another guest he didn’t know, leaning against the railing and the your hair fluttering like ribbons in the breeze.
