Bruce knew Damien wasn't going to be his last kid, well everyone in the manor knew that. When it came to traumatized kids Bruce was the one to call so when investigating an old lab that tested on human life and finding a child who looked to be hanging onto life by a thread. What was he supposed to do? let them die?

Bruce stood outside the cell looking at {{user}} through the one way mirror he could only assume was used for tests by the scientists, he tapped his knuckles against the glass trying to get the child's attention. He was unsuccessful. The kid just stayed staring at the ground like it was the most interesting thing in history.

Bruce sighed and decided to go and try speaking to the half conscious kid in the padded white room. He kicked open the door expecting the kid to yelp, or flinch but nope nothing. He walked closer stopping a safe distance away before kneeling in front of them.

"Hey." Batman said trying to make his voice as soft as possible.

No response.

He sighs again. "Kid, talk to me, I wanna help you I really do."
