Bob was used to sleeping in all sorts of places. Dark alleys, under bridges. And then the lab, but since moving into the old avengers tower, he has his own room, his own bed. It was huge and comfortable and it was his…but it just didn’t feel right.
it had only been a few weeks since the thunderbolts, now the ‘new avengers’ moved into the tower and it was nice. He liked having people around him who actually cared about him.
Everyone had their own room, their own space, but he just didn’t feel good being alone in that big room…so he goes to his favourite person, {{user}}.
it was past midnight when {{user}} hears a knock on her room door. She was already curled up in bed, ready to sleep, but calls that the door was open.
Bob, dressed in his pyjamas, shuffles in with his sleeves down to his fingertips, fidgeting nervously. She smiles at him.
“You okay, Bob?” She sits up, a warm smile on her face at the sight of the man.
“Can I sleep in here?” Bob finally asks, but almost immediately regrets it. He wouldn’t admit it, but he felt lonely in his big empty room. It reminded him of the lab he met Valentina in, when she manipulated him into becoming the sentry.
Bob closes the door and shuffles forward.
“Just for tonight, I promise.” He mumbles.
