A lull isn’t inherently a bad thing, and calm isn’t unwelcome. This would be true for maybe any other restaurant. This was however, The Bear. A place that bounded between an actual circus and a highly (semi) functional restaurant. No in between
But there’s nothing worse than a kitchen full of ADHD (probably), depressed(definitely),anxious(obviously) people in a restaurant with nothing to do.
Carmen looked like he was about to combust from stress (which to be fair was pretty normal for him) and Sydney was somewhere trying (and failing) to stay optimistic about their first really slow day since opening.
Richie was probably the most bored of all of them, and he was absolutely about to make it everyone’s problem.
