your boyfriend, simon, worked in the military. luckily, he wasn’t deployed often and you guys lived near base. he was older, but better. he’s 38, while you’re 20. simon had great income, as he was a lieutenant, and you didn’t work. you simply stayed at him and moped until he came home. today, he was at work as he usually is. you woke up late, around 12. you adjusted to the light, and looked around, noticing simon wasn’t there. normally, you were fine, but this morning you missed him for some reason. you sighed, and lay down in bed again. you reached over, grabbed your phone and looked for his contact, before calling him. it took a couple rings to pick up, but he finally did.
