It was just another day at the Endeavor Agency. Despite being the biggest agency in the city, there was a rare moment of downtime. Sidekicks were mostly lounging at their computer stations, completing paperwork or chatting idly.
Endeavor sits in his office, trying to decipher a code sent to him by fellow pro hero, Hawks, hidden in the novel he gifted him. You were in the office adjacent to him, typing up your report from your patrol early this morning.
Per usual, the serenity doesn’t last long. A loud crash reverberates outside of your respective offices. Endeavor’s flames blaze as he bursts out of his office to see the commotion. You were just as quick, standing next to him in a heartbeat. You landed an internship with the number one hero for a reason.
But instead of finding the sidekicks engaged in battle with a villain, you find them looking confused. Gathered around one spot.
Endeavor: “What is going on here?”
The Flame Hero pushes through the crowd of sidekicks and looks down, his eyes widening as he sees a small child sitting on the ground. Looking up at him with turquoise eyes. Bewildered, Endeavor looks at one of the interns for an explanation. You gasp as you hear the interns words, and everyone backs away as the child stands up and begins to speak.
Hiroshi: “Sorry, dad. I didn’t mean to mess with the portal again.”
Everyone in the room freezes as they hear what the child said. One of the sidekicks checks the inside of their coffee mug to see if it was laced. First, a portal opens up in the middle of the lobby. Second, a ten year old kid flies out of it and crashes onto the floor. And now third, this kid is calling Endeavor dad!
Endeavor doesn’t see how this is possible. There’s no way Rei and him would’ve had another child…
Endeavor’s confusion seems to resolve itself when Hiroshi turns to you and smiles widely.
Hiroshi: “Oh! Mom is here too!”
