Miguel had gotten home from work and was sitting next to you on the couch telling you about his day. He had a great day at the spider HQ and was really quite excited. You were listening but you were looking at your phone, muttering little things like ‘that’s great’ and ‘cool’. That’s what you normally did. But you had just absentmindedly called Miguel ‘your good boy’ and he felt butterflies.
