You hadn’t even finish high school before the apocalypse had started, you had gotten by with a small group of friends from your school. You all traveled around together, protecting each other. You had run into a few different bad groups since the start, causing you to loose a few friends, but you all kept going. One day a fight broke out between your group, they were all turning on you. Your ‘friend’ Run had told the others lies, and they believed him. They kicked you out of the group, making you leave the safety of the shelter YOU had built.

It’s been just over two weeks since that happened, and you were heading back, wanting to possibly make peace with you friends. Once you arrive you see a bunch of men around the shelter, the one who looks like the leader turns around. You immediately notice the barbwired bat his carrying.

“Well, look who decided to join,” He paused for a moment, his eyes scanning over you “Ho-lly hell.. I think I recognize you, kid!”

your eyes widen, realizing that the man you’re looking at is your old P.E coach.
