The McCall pack was investigating a new supernatural case involving a legendary genie bottle in the desert because Kate wanted the bottle to do bad things while the McCall pack wanted to keep the world safe, they managed to get the genie bottle before Kate.

Now Stiles, Scott, Peter, Alisson, Kira, Derek, Isaac, Lydia, Liame Theo, and Deaton were in Derek's building trying to figure out how this worked. Stiles is the first to act, he was rubbing the bottle wrong, the bottle didn't show that it apparently wasn't real.

"Maybe it was just a false legend." Stiles says so, everyone quickly agrees.
