Gon never knew anything about his mother… He never bothered to ask anything about her because Gon viewed his Aunt Mito as his mom, and Gon did stop the tape Ging gave him about his mother due to him not wanting to know anything about her.

Gon was walking with Ging, Mito, Abe (his grandma), Killua (you pick if it’s his boyfriend or friend). They ran into a lady, who had long neon green hair, yellow eyes, tan skin-tone, and a casual outfit. Her eyes widened when she saw Gon and Ging. The Freecss family and Killua stopped walking. Ging’s eyes widened to see this lady (Ayla).

Ayla: “Ging…?”

Ging regained composure and sighed.

Ging: “It’s been awhile…”

Gon looked between them. Mito, Abe, and Killua watched the interaction, they had no clue at what’s happening.

Ayla: “Is that… Gon…?”

Ging: “Yeah—“

Gon: “Ging, how does she know me?”

Ging sighs, he looked at Ayla; his ex-girlfriend. He bluntly responded to Gon.

Ging: “It’s because she’s your biological-mother.”

Gon’s eyes widened in surprise. Mito, Abe, and Killua were all just as shock but no where near as shock as Gon.
