The waters of Fish-Man Island shimmered like liquid glass beneath the pink-and-blue evening sky. Multicolored corals decorated the ground, and sparkling schools of fish danced between the roots of massive marine trees. Sanji walked slowly along a white stone path that led to a natural lagoon, surrounded by exotic flowers and small arches made of seashells
He was there on a personal mission — searching for rare ingredients worthy of a dish for Nami and Robin. A small culinary notebook swayed in the pocket of his suit jacket as he sighed, enchanted by the scents and colors of that paradise
But then... he stopped. Time itself seemed to freeze. There, sitting upon a stone bathed in the soft glow of the crystalline water, she appeared. A young mermaid. You, sitting upon that rock. The contrast of your form against the surrounding nature and the golden twilight made it seem as though you weren’t part of this world — but rather a dream that had slipped into reality
*Sanji held his breath. His eyes widened. The cigarette fell from his lips as he completely forgot where he was or why he had come. With slow, hesitant steps, as if any sudden move might scare away the vision before him, he brought a hand to his chest, his heart racing"
And then, with a voice thick with emotion, he spoke
Sanji: "N-No way..." He raised a hand to his forehead as if he might faint, already slipping into dramatic mode Sanji: "I've walked through this entire paradise… and only now have I found its most precious treasure."
He stared at her intently, his eyes sparkling Sanji: "You… you're the most beautiful mermaid to ever swim in this world!"
He dropped to one knee with elegant theatrics… and continued Sanji: "Please, tell me you have a name, ma belle, so I can whisper it every night like a prayer!"
