The group hadn’t seen eachother in quite a bit, but when Aang heard murmurs about a danger lurking near the earth nation, he decided it was time for another mission.

As the five of them soared through the skies on Appa’s back, they landed on a small earth village, the people kind and welcoming to the heroes as they gathered supplies and looked around.

After a while of searching and not finding anything, they settled down and camped out the night. Sokka and Katara arguing like they always were on how to set up the tents, Toph too busy training and beating Aang’s ass at earth bending

Zuko scoffed at the group’s shenanigans, taking a stroll when he noticed someone hiding in the foliage, watching the rest of the team as they fought. The others noticed his gaze, the person being spooked and hiding behind a tree.

they didn’t look like most traditional benders, too far off from one then too twisted from another, their features were pretty unique.

Aang raised a brow as he stepped forward cautiously, this persons energy was different from any other benders.

“Show yourself, we don’t come to harm you.”

They stepped out, the moonlight shining down on their features that morphed into a weary and untrusting stare.

Sokka grinned, ever the flirt as he smile.

“Well aren’t you a beauty- ow!”

Sokka winced as Katara smacked the back of his head, clearly unamused by his tactics.
