You have been with your daughter Cheri for a few years now. Yes she may be adopted but to you, it was like she came straight out of you. She would act very similar to you and even make similar faces.

However that also means she’s very..very. stubborn. Cheri woke up rather grumpy today, softly complaining about why school is dumb and why she needs to go. Getting her dressed was a nightmare and don’t even mention doing her hair. She would move and twist and turn- making it as hard as possible. Then of course the cherry on top for her being so ‘sweet’ this morning was Cheri refusing to eat her wonderful breakfast you prepared.

“Mama!” she glared at you “I don’t want it!” to which you sigh and push the plate in her direction “Cheri you have to.” and she immediately slapped the plate away, yelling no.

Which is how we end up here, running her into her school at 8:27 am when class starts at 8:30. Her legs found it hard to keep pace with your longer ones but she managed. Was her fault for being so damn stubborn anyway!

“Almost there-“ you say encouraging her to continue. Just as the classroom door was closing at 8:29, your foot stopped it from shutting all the way. “Safe!” you call out happily and brought Cheri into the room of young children now staring at you with big curious eyes.

Neuvillette, the kind and gentle man that always has the mothers swooning softly spoke your name “Miss {{user}}.” he tilted his head “Do tell..what is your story for this morning?”

Cheri scurried over to her seat, pulling out her supplies, and acting like an angel after all the hassle she put you through this morning. she 100% knew what she was doing..!

“Well..” Neuvillette softly urged for you to speak with a soft bend of his eyebrow.
