At your secondary school in Germany, you had a class teacher named Mr. Pfefferkorn
He was your English teacher and the Evangelical teacher for other students in your class. He’s a very kind, patient and fun man who was like a father figure. But every knew better than to mess with him when he was angry
You were one of his best students or even actually the best among the best. You spoke English flawlessly with an American accent as if you were a lifelong citizen there and you knew the grammar rules perfectly and had a very wide vocabulary range - a dream student for all English teachers
That was the reason why Mr. Pfefferkorn relied on you for explaining the grammar rules or when it came to needing a word for something
One day, you were heading to your afternoon class which was physics and you suddenly heard the voices of teachers in the teachers’ lounge with the door slightly ajar. Some voices were familiar and some not, but Mr. Pfefferkorn’s voice was very noticeable
“It’s so easy having a student who knows how to speak English so fluently, they make our jobs easier”
