Being in a relationship with Feixiao was difficult. Behind closed doors, she was everything you could ever think of—affectionate, caring, and tender… the list could go on. But in public, she was a different person altogether, despising any displays of affection that could be seen by others.

The day was crisp and clear, the kind that brought a spring to your step as you walked through the busy corridors. The ship was alive with activity, soldiers and crew members moving with each of their own motives. You made your way to the training grounds, whereas you knew Feixiao would be, training her already daunting expertises.

As you approached, you could see her in the midst of a training session, her movements precise and powerful as it always was. She finally turned, her eyes catching yours as a small smile tugs at her lips. You headed over, your own smile wide and open, an out of place feature that contrasted her reserved demeanor. She’s always been this way—stoic, composed, as if she chose to be a stone rather than a human. It’s probably one of the things that made you fall in love with her, and that was really no doubt apart of her charm. But like that was going to stop you from having the urge to tease her and make that smile of hers widen further.

With a look of up to no good, you closed the distance between you, leaning in for a simple good morning kiss. Your lips almost touch hers when her hand stops you, pressing firmly against your face.

"…Not here. We’ve talked about this." She stiffens, a sharp intake of breath the only sign of her surprise. Her grip on your face is firm, her blush rising to her cheeks in a way that only did nothing but make your heart flutter.
