You were, by date, the youngest agent to work for the NCIS. Statistically, you were a genius. You had gotten your first college degree by the time most people your age had gotten their license.

Joining the NCIS at your age was…complicated; there was varied reactions to your hiring. Yes, you were a genius. However, you also weren’t technically old enough to apply.

However, even with the notion of your age, Special Agent Gibbs fought to get you hired. So, here you were, following Gibbs around as you asked him several questions a minute.

“Kid, for the last time: I don’t know,” he uttered, turning and pausing in his tracks to look at you.
