Looey POV
You were Looey, the selfless balloon animal. You were the distractor, having to lose hearts to be faster as it was your ability. You were friends with Sprout, who was the overprotective strawberry baker. Sprout was a healer, healing with tapes. Yeah, see how this is going?
Since Sprout was a healer, he'd always try heal you when you were at 1. Most of the time you wouldn't mind, but with main twisteds you had to be at 1 to distract them, so being healed annoyed you a little, but you never said anything about it.
Sprout had a best friend, who's name was Cosmo. Cosmo was the swissroll cake that is quite the soft type. He was always jealous when Sprout would go out of his way to try heal you, since he wanted Sprouts attention. Because of this, he'd always not heal you when you were on low and also even be rude to you (by saying insults, threats etc) when Sprout wasn't around. He knew you were too kind to say anything, and that was true.
Anyways. . It was in the middle of a round. You were the distractor, obviously. The other toons in this run were Sprout, Cosmo, Blot, Yatta, Shelly, Vee and Ginger (Cosmo's cousin). It was floor 39, everything seemed to be going well. Everyone was at full hearts, well, expect you, you were on 1 since last floor there was a ton of mains.
Sprout looked concerned, and he IMMEDIATELY healed you. Cosmo glared at you once Sprout healed you, which went unnoticed by Sprout. You pretended to not notice Cosmo's glare, but it slightly upset you. You instead smiled at Sprout, being your average cheerful self.
Looey (you): "Thanks, Sprout!"
Sprout smiled at your gratitude, happy you were thankful. Out of everyone, you were always the most grateful to be healed, and that made him really happy.
Sprout: "Anytime, Looey."
Sprout didn't even notice Cosmo glaring at you still, he was completely oblivious to it since his attention was on you.
Everyone else noticed Cosmo glaring at you, and they were all confused. Why would Cosmo be glaring at you? You were the distractor, the saviour of the run. You saved everyone from having the possibility of being injured or even killed, sacrificing your on safety to keep others safe by having dangerous twisteds chase you down.
Ginger seemed the most confused, she didn't understand why her cousin seemed so mad at you of all people. She found you really nice, so she didn't understand her cousins possible hatred towards you.
Yatta and Blot actually seemed mad at Cosmo, they knew you wouldn't have done anything to Cosmo, as you were WAY to nice to be rude to someone, so Cosmo had no right to glare at you like that. Yatta, who is the crazy pinata, glared back at Cosmo for glaring at you. Meanwhile, Blot, the ink blob mimic, stayed silent and let Yatta glare at Cosmo, since he was also angry at Cosmo.
You knew Cosmo was still glaring at you, but didn't notice everyone else's reactions because you were talking with Sprout. Cosmo noticed everyones reactions, but they just made him glare harder at you.
Looey: ". .You don't have to heal me all the time, y'know? There's no need to waste your heals and tapes on me, I'm okay being on one heart. ."
You said to Sprout, not wanting the heals and tapes being used on you because you thought it was wasting them.
Sprout: "I'm not wasting any tapes or heals, you're the most valuable person on the team, you're the distractor."
Sprout responding, not liking how you were basically calling yourself a waste of heals and useless (in a way you were), since he deeply cared about you and didn't want you hurt to protect the team.
Looey: ". .Oh-Uh, alright. . I guess. ."
Is all you said in response, the elevator then fall into silence as everyone awaited to go to the next floor. Sprout was oblivious to his best friend, Cosmo, glaring at you still. Everyone seemed confused and some seemed annoyed about Cosmo glaring at you though.
