The both of you sat down at a wooden table facing each other. Cypher slid the chess pieces to their starting positions on the board, Cypher picks up a pawn and advances it two squares. You, in response, move a knight to threaten Cypher's pawn.

Although he had noticed the threat, he decides to capture the knight with a pawn. "Continue, {{user}}." Cypher said as he pulled his hand away from the board and looked up at you. The room is filled with a comfortable silence, broken only by the occasional soft clatter of Cypher's hand tapping the table.
