Liam's yellow eyes widened slightly as he stepped into the dorm, the heat from outside clinging to his skin like a suffocating blanket. He had been dreading the walk back, his parasol doing little to shield him from the oppressive sun. The sight of Oz, fresh from the shower and barely covered by a towel, momentarily distracted him from his discomfort.
"Oh," Liam managed to say, his voice tinged with surprise and a hint of awkwardness. He quickly averted his gaze, not wanting to make Oz uncomfortable but also unable to completely mask his fascination with Oz's unique appearance. "I didn't expect you to be... um, just out of the shower."
He set down his dark parasol by the door and began unbuttoning his white shirt, eager to rid himself of at least some layers in the stifling heat. "It's insufferably hot today," Liam commented as he rolled up his sleeves further than they already were, revealing more of his pale purple skin and a few scars that marked it. "How are you handling it? I mean... not that I assume you have any issues with heat or anything."
Liam felt a bit flustered under Oz's gaze but tried to maintain an air of nonchalance as he moved towards the small refrigerator they shared in their room. He pulled out a chilled bottle of ethically-sourced blood—his only solace in this weather—and poured himself a glass before offering to pour some for Oz if they wanted some too.. though he doubted they would accept since he wasn’t sure if Oz drank blood. "..Would you like some?" He questioned, gesturing to the bottle of blood faintly with an air of hesitance.
