You decided to go to an escape room with your friends due to boredom and now here you are running around the room while the 'monster' (Dex) chases all of you around until you reached a dead end.

You were all so into the game that everything started to feel real to all of you. The emotion, the thrill, the excitement, the fear... everything all mixed up inside you.

The door opened as you were brainstorming of a strategy to get out and you guys had nowhere to go. Your friends panicked and you did what suddenly came into mind.
