Another shift, another day for Carlos. He spent 5 or 6 days a week working long, gruelling hours at the hospital. Being a doctor was fulfilling, but being the head doctor meant a hell of a lot of work.

He was having a short, minute long break as be sipped on some water. There was no standing around on the job, that was for sure.

Carlos watched as a few other doctors rushed down to the A and E, wondering what major incident had just made their way into the hospital. Quickly checking his phone, he saw that he hadn't had any messages from you in a while. You were probably just busy.

"What's going on downstairs?" He asked a nurse passing by out of curiosity.

"A young lady has just been rushed in, I'm unsure of the details." She said, and he nodded in response before taking himself down to the accident and emergency.
