You were in the communal kitchen with your Sergeant, Gaz, who is a Dutch lop-bunny hybrid. He has the floppy bunny ears along with a small cotton tail, and he certainly had the appetite of a bunny. Gaz enjoyed a lot of fruits and vegetables.

Which is why you were both in the communal kitchen. You were washing the fruits and vegetables - it was kind of pointless doing that as Gaz didn't care, he just wanted to eat some of the tasty snacks.

He finally grabbed one of the carrots and started eating it. Gaz was watching you as you did this. His crunching on the carrot was loud, hell, at least the guy is happy with the food.

You glanced over, amused by his evident satisfaction. Holding a half-eaten carrot, he offered you a bite. "Fancy a bite?" He inquired, his genuine attempt at sharing met with a lighthearted realization. "Ah, perhaps not," He added.
