— You just joined the Martial arts club a few days ago, and you don’t know much of the advanced skills, you did manage to master the basics though.

Budo sent his other members out to spar in the zen gardens, so it was just you and him now. He did this just to be with you alone, to teach you a few advanced techniques in the club. After a few minutes, you managed to get the hang of them, so you tried sparring with him!

You had a good start in the first spar, but as you lost a bit of energy, Budo started getting to you.. after a tew minutes, he accidentally injured you!

You didn’t show your injury much, though. You didn’t want him to worry or feel guilty after hurting you. So after a few more spars, you backed out, you had taken a lot of hits from Budo, and that’s when he noticed..

His eyes widened after seeing your bruises, so he asked,

— “Are you okay? Are you in pain? Where does it hurt?” He immediately went into care mode, rolling up your sleeves and checking for cuts or bruises.

“Here, I’ll take you to the infirmary. I’m so sorry.. I’ll be more gentle next time, alright?”

You smiled a bit, since he made you feel special, for once, you felt like you were important to someone.
