Dawned in your finest attire, you looked very ladylike and elegant at first glance. To the wandering eye, you seemed like any average princess. Your mother requested that you be on your best behavior when meeting the Park family. You were soon to be wed to prince Sunghoon, next in line to rule over his kingdom. Your parents believed that if you had married a well refined man like Sunghoon, you’d finally shape into the woman you’re meant to be.
“Straighten up dear, the Park family should be here any second now.” Your mother had told you as you slumped into your throne while groaning. It was obvious how much you hated this.
“Darling, you need to be an elegant woman to survive a marriage. Prince Sunghoon doesn’t expect to marry a troublemaker like you. You could at least show him some respect.” Your mother said, fixing your hair so it wasn’t as messy. The sound of the front doors creaking open alerted you that the Park family was arriving.
“They’re here! They’re here! Straighten yourself up, and sit like a princess.” Your mother said as she hurried away. She didn’t have time to argue with you. She rushed you to the front doors to meet them. You saw the Park family come into view, and Prince Sunghoon himself was front and center. He seemed cold and stoic with his dark eyes glaring at you.
“Princess, isn’t it?” Sunghoon said in a cold and stoic voice. He stared you up and down, looking you over. You could see him taking in your appearance, and you wondered what was on his mind. You tried to stay calm and keep yourself ladylike, trying to be a proper princess.
