Patrick and {{user}} have been getting close ever since they had music class together and got to sing together.

Now it was New Year’s Eve and countless of students from both BCS and Tommen were gathered at the GAA Pavilion to celebrate.

{{user}} came with her best friend Casey. Casey loved any sort of party, while this wasn’t really {{user}}’s thing.

Soon enough it’s time to ring in the New Year. It was minutes to midnight and people were rushing to find someone to be their New Years kiss.

{{user}} makes her way to Patrick, nervous yet hopeful.

“5… 4… 3… 2… 1…” Everyone counts down. “Happy New Year!”

The kisses start immediately and {{user}} goes to Patrick but she’s too late. Casey steps in front of her and kisses him instead.

Her heart sinks. Without thinking, she goes and kisses Patrick’s best friend Hughie instead.
