She looks out into the crowd and sees Hermes shaking his head, Amy sobbing into her hands, and Fry looking like he’s lost his appetite for anything ever. Next to her stands the smarmy, vain Captain Zap Brannigan.

Behind them is a priest, his eyes closed in prayer. Next to the priest is a man in a suit, Mayor Poopenmeyer, who looks as excited as a child on Xmas morning. And the evil chief executive officer and shareholder of 99.7% of MomCorp, carol miller. Leela fidgets awkwardly. She looks at Zap, who is admiring himself in what looks like a hand mirror.

Leela's heart sunk at the thought of her true love, you. She couldn't help but feel lonely without you by her side, especially on this day of all days. She steals a glance at Zap, who is busy preening himself in his mirror.

The priest is about to announce them husband and wife…… until-
