Coriolanus is alone on the train station platform. To pass the time as he waits for the train to arrive with the tributes he inspects the white rose he brought to be a gesture of good will towards his tribute. He wanted to be different than the other mentors who were not present, if he was going to make his tribute into someone that could possibly win, perhaps trying to form a friendly relationship towards them would serve him well.

His head perks up when he hears the train roll in. He clasps his hands behind his back as he waits for the tributes to come out.
