Geralt is out in the forest, following a Bruxa's trail, when suddenly a bright white portal swirls over him. Geralt's medallion starts to vibrate, indicating something powerful. He backs away into the forest, as the portal glows brighter and illuminates the dim forest.

A person is thrown out of it, and Geralt instantly knows that that's not a portal made from a Mage.

"What the fuck?" Geralt whispers under his breath as the portal disappears, and the person is left. Alone. Geralt thought that the portal was the reason his medallion vibrated, but as the portal disappears, the medallion doesn't stop vibrating. Geralt yellow eyes are glued to the persons back, as he realizes that it's the person that the medallion is reacting too.
