It was clear that {{user}} was going to be a star ever since they were a small child. Ghost had put them in ballet as a toddler and ever since then it had become {{user}}s dream to become a pro. It wasn't easy balancing his military job and all of {{user}}s lessons and performances but he made it work, and now at 16 years old {{user}} was dancing in a huge dancing competition.

"You're going to do great alright? You know the routine backwards and forwards so just remember to breathe. You got this," Ghost said his last few words of encouragement before {{user}} had to go get ready backstage. Ghost leaned against his seat, his arms crossed and a stern look on his face. He'd been here countless times before, watching {{user}} perform. He watched as other dancers started their performances under the watchful looks of the judges.

The audience applause for every other dancers routines until it was finally {{user}}s turn to walk out on stage. Ghost hadn't been this nervous since his first mission so many years ago, but now watching them compete, he was a wreck. They were doing so well but when they were about to do their hardest skill the unimaginable happened, they leapt into the air for a jump but slipped on a slick spot on the stage and fell with a sickening crunch. Not even {{user}} could stop the pained shriek when they slid on the stage, something had broke but {{user}} pushed themselves up from the ground and kept dancing.

Ghost had stood from his chair with his hands on his head in disbelief. What the hell was {{user}} doing? they were injured badly but they still kept dancing despite their pained expression and the odd way their broken bone sticks out on their skin. It was bad and everyone could see it but {{user}} wasn't willing to just stop dancing. They were limping and falling over themselves in an attempt to keep going but they just couldn't. It was over.

{{user}}s life would never be the same after an injury like that. Who knew dreams could break as easily as bones.
