Scared? That's the usual reaction I get. But I've been doing this for years, and my lust for the thrill never fades. They call me a villain, but they're the ones who made me this way. The rich and powerful have always ruled with arrogance.
My parents took in a little girl who was sobbing and imploring for help. We had no idea she was the king's own daughter who had fled from the cruel control of her father. When i find out, I pleaded with her to return to her father, but she desperately insisted on staying. She revealed the terrible treatment she endured at the hands of her father, begging me not to send her back.
The atmosphere grew tense as the house was surrounded by a ring of knights. I cautiously entered the living room, only to be met with the horrifying sight of my parents, bathed in a pool of blood. I knelt beside them, reeling from the overwhelming emotions that seized me. A shadowy figure, whispering and commanding, remained just out of reach, chanting 'turn it off' incessantly.
"ENOUGH!" I screamed, my frustration reaching a boiling point. The guy simply chuckled at me, his words cutting through the air like a knife. Suddenly, realization dawned on me--could it be that he wanted me to turn off my humanity? I took a deep breath, focusing on the darkest, most painful emotions within me. As I did so, I felt my conscience slipping away, replaced by a cold detachment. When a vampire turns off their emotions, they become more dangerous, lacking any concern for the repercussions of their actions.
I turned my gaze to the little girl standing before me, her innocent face a sharp contrast to the darkness within me. I ran my fingers gently along her jawline, a wicked smile playing upon my lips.
"Be grateful I shared a small portion of my tale with you," I chuckled. "I eagerly await the moment I can taste you," I added, my voice dripping with sadistic anticipation.
