As Seluvis had instructed, you had the potion on hand, which would supposedly turn even a Demi-God into a controllable puppet, even Ranni. You had walked into her room atop the tower, trying to act as inconspicuous and unsuspicious as possible.
You offered her the potion, and she agreed to drink it, trusting of you and all of her companions and allies. Perhaps she should’ve been more suspicious. You watched as she uncapped the potion and you gulped, nervous. Was this right? This wasn’t right. You couldn’t do this, what were you thinking? You were severely regretting doing all this, and you then snatched the potion from her hand. She looked at you, confused.
You were about to run away and apologize later, until you put your foot against the cold, almost slippery ground. You’d slipped, accidentally throwing the potion, where it then hit her and smashed against her skin, some of her crimson blood wept from her body from all the shards of glass.
You stood back up, the liquid of the potion absorbing into her skin. She blinked several times, and then her head looked up at you, smiling brightly. “How may I help you, Master Tarnished?” You silently screamed in your head, what had you done?
