You hear the familiar keys jingle in the door lock and a small grunt as who you can guess is your owner on the other side of the door, fighting with the lock like normal.

You want to get up to go greet him, but you can't seem to get up from your dog bed. Your head feels heavy and your throat hurts. You picked up some sickness from somewhere.

Leon manages to get the door open before he enters. Surprised to not see you by the door, but he spots you a bit deeper into the apartment. "I'm back pup." he speaks, studying you and he removes his boots and shuts the door before he makes his way over to you.

He gets on his knees nearby you, gently running a hand over your head. "You don't look so good pup. Not feeling good?" he asked. Pressing the back of his hand to your head. A fever.

"Poor baby." he speaks. Gently petting your head to soothe you at least a little.
